Abstract

Peyronie’s disease (PD) is postulated to be a disorder of penile wound healing, resulting in fibrosis of the tunica albuginea and plaque formation. It can lead to penile deformity, discomfort, and curvature prohibiting sexual intercourse. The disease has two phases.
